Frequently asked questions
- What exactly do you do?
- We help non-technical founders turn ideas into real products. That means product scoping, design, full-stack development, deployment, and ongoing support. Whether you need a prototype to validate an idea or a production-ready MVP, we handle the technical side so you can focus on the business.
- How is this different from hiring an agency?
- You work directly with us - senior engineers with 10+ years of experience. No account managers, no junior devs, no handoffs. One team that understands your product from start to finish. That means faster decisions, clearer communication, and better results.
- What tech stack do you use?
- We pick the right tools for your project, but typically work with React/Next.js for frontends, Node.js or Python for backends, and AWS/GCP for infrastructure. Everything is production-grade: secure, scalable, and ready for investors to look at during due diligence.
- How long does an MVP take?
- Most MVPs take 8-12 weeks from kickoff to launch. Prototypes and validation work can be done in 2-3 weeks. The timeline depends on scope - we'll define exactly what's included before starting so there are no surprises.
- What happens after launch?
- Launch packages include 30 days of post-launch support to fix bugs and handle unexpected issues. After that, you can continue with a Fractional CTO retainer for ongoing development, or we'll hand over everything documented so another team can take over.
- Do you take equity deals?
- Occasionally, yes. We take on 1-3 equity partnerships per year for founders with real traction and exceptional ideas. It's selective, but if you're working on something genuinely interesting and light on cash, it's worth a conversation.
